PHARMACY TECHNICIAN REVIEW FOR PTCB AND EXCPT EXAM

State licensure/registration

Effective January 1, 2010, the state of Florida requires Pharmacy Technicians to be Registered/ Licensed with the Florida Board of Pharmacy state and practice in the State. Certification exams taken through PTCB or ICPT are encouraged but not required by the State. H.I.C. does not control state licensure/registration requirements in Florida or in any other state and cannot guarantee that graduates will be eligible to work as pharmacy technicians in Florida or any other state, at all or at any specific time, regardless of their eligibility status upon enrolment.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN REVIEW FOR PTCB AND EXCPT EXAM

The Pharmacy Technician Review for PTCE and EXCPT Exam program is designed to prepare students for the Hospital and retail pharmacy locations. The Examination offered by the Florida State Board of Pharmacy and most states require the PTCB and EXCPT.  The students complete 60 hours of basic mathematical principles, pharmacy principles and classroom instrumentation training during this program.
