The Hebron Technical Institute 60-hour Electrocardiography Certificate Program is designed to prepare students for employment as electrocardiograph Technicians. The objective of this program is to prepare the student to enter the field as an EKG technician in a hospital or clinical setting. This program enables students to complete 40 hours of EKG classroom training including 20 hours of practical training and 20 hours of theory. An additional 20 hours of internship training onsite at a healthcare provider location completes the 60-hour course. Industry professionals give employment preference to students that have externship training and hands-on experience
