Objectives

• The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in Nursing program at Hebron International College prepares the graduates to sit for the NCLEX and upon successful completion of the State exam to be licensed of excellence within the State of Florida.

Upon completion of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, the student is prepared for the pursuit of advanced study in nursing and
life-long learning should be able to:

  • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Provide accurate patient assessments.
  • Provide appropriate healthcare interventions as a member of a treatment team.
  •  Function as a professional level staff nurse in a variety of healthcare facilities to include hospitals, long-term care agencies, physician’s
    offices, clinics, out-patient surgical facilities and other community organizations.
  • Function as a safe practitioner, using critical thinking and communication skills to act as a patient advocate and educator.
  • Understand and utilize nursing related medical and technological equipment.
  • Demonstrate a full understanding and practice of accepted ethical and legal standards.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities in diverse healthcare settings.
  • Understand the unique needs of diverse populations regarding socioeconomic, culture, and lifespan issues.
  • Promote health and wellness in order to facilitate growth and development. Put into action successful professional nursing standards by
    practicing within the legal characterizations of nursing practice and behave in accordance with the code of ethics and practice the American.
  • Nurse Association (ANA) standards of practice. 
  • Provides an in-depth exploration of evidence-based practices that can be applied on the
  • job immediately.

Program description

The BSN degree focuses on contemporary nursing practices to build nursing skills and competencies
using technology-based learning. It is structured to develop competent, BSN nurses in a program that is
sustainable, scalable, and nationally relevant. The BSN program includes a strategic partnership
between the Hebron International College Nursing Program and healthcare employers who provide
practice sites and clinical coaches. Graduates are prepared to function in new roles as members of
healthcare teams in many settings.

Objectives

Upon completion of this program, graduates will have an in depth understanding of global issues and management concepts, making graduates qualified for more advanced employment opportunities within their field. This program is designed for registered nurses seeking broader professional responsibilities and career opportunities.

Program description

 The RN to BSN program is designed to provide a comprehensive approach to advanced concepts analysis the nursing. The program provides students with an opportunity to select coursework in areas that are emerging as necessities for advanced nursing credentials. These areas include informatics, nursing education, research, and business concepts. This program takes an interdisciplinary approach to these paradigms to tie together an advanced undergraduate degree that will prepare the professional nurse for opportunities in career fields in nursing. Graduates from this program will have the appropriate academic preparation to work in nursing education programs, departmental management, case management, research, and other areas of healthcare, where nurses have become a critical component of care and/or operation.
